Accredited MiDAS training course
From our base in Goole Yorkshire, and on your site we offer standard and accessible MiDAS training course services to individulas and businesses across Doncaster, Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
Administered by the Community Transport Association (CTA), the Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS) provides a nationally recognised standard for minibus driver assessment and training – designed to enhance minibus driving standards and promote the safer operation of minibuses in the UK
Our course leaders and assessors are fully accredited and approved by the MiDAS and the CTA, giving you complete confidence that you’re in expert hands.
Who is MiDAS minibus training for ?
For your convenience, your MiDAS training course will be delivered at your site, and we can accommodate for 1-4 people from your organisation per course date.
Our minibus training and assessments are suitable for a range of purposes, such as:
- Schools, colleges and other educational institutions
- Community transport schemes and charitable organisations
- Larger minibus fleet operations
In order to be eligible for the course, drivers must hold a full, valid Cat B car licence, or a Cat D1 minibus licence.

Standard and accessible course structures
Depending on whether you’re undertaking the standard or accessible minibus training and assessment, your itinerary will be as follows:
1 Day Standard Course
8.30am to 11.30am – theory training and theory test
12pm – lunch
12.30pm to 3pm (approx.) – on road assessments
2 Day Assessible Course
Day 1
As above
Day 2
8.30am to 11.30am – DDA theory training and test
12pm – lunch
12.30pm until 3pm (approx.) – practical accessible training, wheelchair, passenger ramp/lift use and then assessments
