Driver CPC courses – periodic CPC training
From our base in Goole Yorkshire, we offer regular driver cpc courses to individuals and businesses across Goole, Doncaster, Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
Introduced in 2008, periodic CPC training is an essential legal requirement for professional HGV, LGV, coach or bus drivers as part of your Continual Professional Development obligations. Once you’ve been granted your DQC/CPC card you’ll need to undertake a total of 35 hours training every five year period, split across on average 7 hours per year.
In order to ensure your complete compliance, our CPC training course services are approved by JAUPT and the DVSA
How do CPC courses work?
Periodic CPC training is designed to cover a range of different modules, keeping Category C and D drivers up-to-date with the latest skills, and health and safety and legal requirements.
Click here to check how many cpc training hours you’ve completed so far in your current period, and remember that without meeting these periodic training requirements, you could be fined up to £1000. You must also ensure you don’t repeat the same course within each 5 year period.
Our CPC courses can be held at our own site in Goole or at client sites throughout Doncaster, Yorkshire and neighbouring areas, and we can cater for up to 20 people per course.
In order to take a periodic CPC driver training course, you must hold either:
- A Cat C1/C/C+E HGV Licence
- OR a Cat D1/D minibus/bus licence

Periodic CPC course costs
Our classroom-based driver CPC training courses are charged at just £60 for classroom courses per person or £50 for online courses and course costs include your certificate and 7 hours upload to your driving licence.
